Wade Hundley
President, Formida Capital
Wade Hundley, President of Formida, sits on the firm’s investment committee, overseeing the company’s investing and strategic direction. Wade brings nearly three decades of senior-level experience and nuanced expertise across various real estate industry sectors.
Wade is also CEO of Redeavor Capital and was recently a Senior Advisor at Oaktree Capital Management. He co-founded Moab Development in 2015, which focuses on commercial, medical, and mixed-use real estate development projects and investments. He also served as CEO of ST Residential, a partnership between Starwood Capital, TPG Capital, and two additional private equity firms, which purchased Corus Bank’s real estate assets in late 2009. During his tenure at ST Residential, the company completed over $750 million of construction and generated over $3 billion from selling over 5,500 condominiums in distinct markets across the country in a period of less than five years. Before ST Residential, Wade was president of Pinnacle Entertainment, a publicly traded casino holding company, where he led the development of three large regional casino resorts with a combined project cost of over $1.3 billion. Additionally, he consulted for Goldman Sachs, served as a senior partner with Colony Capital, Inc., one of the country’s premier real estate-based private equity firms, and served as a financial analyst for Merril Lynch in New York and Los Angeles. He holds a BS from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Texas, where he was a Sord Scholar.
