We specialize in higher leverage stretch senior financing (up to 85%+ LTV), selective mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and participating debt.

Wade Hundley

Wade Hundley, President of Formida, sits on the firm’s investment committee, overseeing the company’s investing and strategic direction. Wade brings nearly three decades of senior-level experience and nuanced expertise across various real estate industry sectors.
Wade, Senior Advisor at Oaktree Capital Management, co-founded Moab, which focuses on commercial medical and mixed-use real estate development. He also served as CEO of ST Residential, a partnership between Starwood Capital, TPG Capital, and two private equity firms, which purchased Corus Bank real estate assets in 2009. During his tenure at ST Realty, the company completed over $600 million of construction and generated $2 billion from selling 5,000 condominiums across the country in three years. Before ST Residential, Wade was president of Pinnacle Entertainment, a publicly traded casino holding company, where he led the development of three large regional casino resorts with a combined project cost of over $1.3 billion. Additionally, he served as a senior partner with Colony Capital, Inc., one of the country’s premier real estate-based private equity firms, and as a financial analyst for Merril Lynch in New York and Los Angeles. He holds a BS from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Texas, where he was a Sord Scholar.

Eric Waller is the Executive Vice President responsible for Formida’s bank capital solutions business and the firm’s overall operations, marketing, and corporate oversight. An industry leader and innovator, Eric brings vast experience and expertise from across the real estate development, marketing, and financial sectors. He holds positions as a Senior Advisor at Oaktree Capital Management and Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Moab Development.
Eric served as the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer of Health Management Associates (HMA), the nation’s fourth-largest publicly traded healthcare holding company, which sold in 2014. At HMA, he oversaw the company’s non-hospital real estate portfolio, totaling more than 2.5 million square feet. Before HMA, he led the travel, media, and entertainment group at Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO, Inc.), which acquired the Seurat Company, a company formed when private equity firm Frontenac purchased the company. Eric co-founded Fireant Technologies in 1999 and has worked with marketing leaders, including Coca-Cola, Domino’s Pizza, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and hundreds of healthcare organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s in business administration from Oklahoma State University.

Jeffrey Giudice

Jeffrey Giudice is the Managing Partner, Head of Lending, and a member of Formida’s investment committee. Jeffrey oversees the firm’s direct lending business across all debt products.
Jeffrey brings nearly 20 years of industry experience encompassing all aspects of the lending business including origination, credit, asset management, and corporate finance. Over his career, he has directly originated over 200 individual loans totaling over $4 billion across all asset classes.
Before joining Formida, Jeffrey spent over seven years as a Managing Director and the head of the West Coast office for Ladder Capital. Prior experience includes over six years as a Managing Director at CCRE, two years as a senior asset manager at Mesa West Capital and two years at UBS Investment Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Tulane University.

As Managing Director of Formida Capital’s Direct Lending team, Jordan Kirkbride focuses on the origination of and/or investment in senior mortgages, subordinate debt, and preferred equity across all asset classes, focusing on hospitality assets.
With more than 13 years of commercial real estate experience encompassing principal investment, advisory, and capital markets roles, Jordan has been a part of more than $40 billion of transaction volume across the capital stack. Before joining Formida Capital in 2024, Jordan served on the Hotels Debt & Structured Finance team at CBRE and on the Capital Markets team at Hodges Ward Elliott. He also served as Vice President at Colony Capital, focused on real estate debt and equity, and began his career as a member of the capital markets team at Cantor Commercial Real Estate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Michigan.

Ron Kripalani is a Senior Advisor at Formida Capital, focused on the firm’s bank capital solutions business.
A proactive and decisive West Coast-based executive, Ron holds 35 years of experience overseeing and directly managing trading, sales, and research of mortgage securities, government securities, high-yield debt, distressed corporate debt, and reorganization equity. As Senior Advisor at Formida Capital, he taps into his experience managing more than 1,000 people in international and domestic markets to define global strategy and spearhead organizational growth and expansion. Ron’s areas of expertise include leadership, strategic planning, enterprise, risk management, fixed income and equity investment, talent acquisition, and debt and equity capital raising. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at DAVÌ and Director at Combined Systems, Inc., while previous roles include Director at Griffin Realty Trust and Western Asset Management, CEO at CRT Capital Group, and Executive Management Director and CEO at Countrywide Capital Markets.
